וְהֽוּא־הִכָּה֩ אֶת־הָאִ֨ישׁ הַמִּצְרִ֜י אִ֥ישׁ מִדָּ֣ה ׀ חָמֵ֣שׁ בָּאַמָּ֗ה וּבְיַ֨ד הַמִּצְרִ֤י חֲנִית֙ כִּמְנ֣וֹר אֹרְגִ֔ים וַיֵּ֥רֶד אֵלָ֖יו בַּשָּׁ֑בֶט וַיִּגְזֹ֤ל אֶֽת־הַחֲנִית֙ מִיַּ֣ד הַמִּצְרִ֔י וַיַּהַרְגֵ֖הוּ בַּחֲנִיתֽוֹ׃
Dialah juga yang menewaskan seorang Mesir, seorang yang sangat tinggi, lima hasta tingginya. Di tangan orang Mesir itu ada tombak yang seperti kayu penggulung tenun. Benaya turun mendapatkan dia dengan sebatang tongkat, lalu merampas tombak itu dari tangan orang Mesir itu dan membunuhnya dengan tombaknya sendiri.
